Director’s Message

Professor K S Verma is a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at KNIT Sultanpur and currently holds an additional charge as Director of Rajkiya Engineering College Mirzapur. Previously, he served as Director at KNIT Sultanpur and REC Ambedkar Nagar.

He played a key role in establishing government engineering colleges in Kannauj & Sonebhadra (2013-14). He earned his B.Tech and M.Tech from KNIT Sultanpur and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) from IIT Roorkee. With over 25 years of experience, he has delivered expert lectures at IIT Kanpur, KNIT, HAL, and other institutions.

His research focuses on Power Systems, Flexible AC Transmission Systems, Distributed Generation, and Power Systems Simulation. He has also taken on administrative roles at university and government levels, contributing significantly to technical education and research.
